Your Student Senate brings you April’s SSAF Service of the Month: Sport & Recreation!

SSAF funds can be utilised to support the running of sporting or other recreational activities for students, and at FedUni that comes in many forms across all campuses. This includes social sporting activities such as soccer, squash, badminton, netball, walking groups and more. FedUni students also have the opportunity to participate in major inter-varsity competitions such as Australian University Games (AUGs) and Southern University Games (SUGs).

SSAF supports the provision of sporting events to suit a wide variety of interests and levels of ongoing commitment. Your SSAF funds are used to promote student engagement in university life and can support the purchase of equipment, running of team events and hiring facilities.

Whether in a competitive or purely social setting, there is something for everyone. Your Student Engagement team facilitate the allocation of funds and organise events and teams to be the best they can be.
